Delivering a rap style that blends styles of rap similar to artists like Juice WRLD, Trippie Redd and YNW Melly through deep 808s and airy guitars, one of the most versatile artists of his generation, with songs ranging from Cloud Rap to even Afropop, YDD Maven released his first full-length project, E through an independent distribution platform in 2023. He is the frontman and founder of music collective 4600BLOCKBOYS. Born Odu Ogheneyoma Gerald on July 12th, 2008, he was raised in Sapele, Nigeria growing in the outskirts of the city before moving to the streets of Benin City, Edo State. He recorded songs with DAWs like FL Studio & BandLab. He went on to drop his first song, Anxiety Freestyle. YDD Maven's debut album, E, with plenty for guest features from artists like Psycho Mi, Alwayne and more garnered thousands of plays across streaming stores. YDD Maven's first ever single since his first album, Letter To My Opps was released June 8th, 2023. A remix featuring female Pop Artist, Peece Jaded and rapper, Psycho Mi was released July 20th. The single, Left Me; was released September 9th, 2023. PLAY3R ON PLUTO was released November 30th, 2023. To kick off 2024, he released a two song project titled TRAP with rapper Tripple B. His debut mixtape, BETWEEN TWO WORLDS was released March 1st, 2024 which contained his hit song, RAG3 featuring Psycho Mi, which had thousands of streams. His long-awaited collab album with rapper, Psycho Mi - TWINNEM - released June 15th, 2024.
