With their new single „The Other Rainbow“ ALOA INPUT are announcing 2 kinds of „springs“: the post-corona spring and the post-human spring. The single walks on the same planet as Tame Impala, wanders through the same neon desert as Flaming Lips and of course swims in the same waters as quirky lo-fi voodoo indie always does. Over a hypnotic patchwork of sounds, drums and baselines, they dreamily dive into somewhat peculiar topics: Should we load our brains into a cloud? But if we download them again, will they still be the same brains? But, even if this philosophical dilemma would be too strenuous for us, we can still lean back and relax: “The Other Rainbow” flows through our brains like fresh bolt of lightning. The third album by the band with Angela Aux, Marcus Graßl and Cico Beck (The Notwist, Joasihno) is called “Devil’s Diamond Memory Collection” and will be released on Siluh Records in May.
