Synnøve Brøndbo Plassen is a traditional folk musician from Folldal, Norway. She is a singer/folk singer who has worked alot with the vocal folk music traditions in Folldal, Østerdalen and Trøndelag. As a singer she is very versatile, and she also plays guitar and lyre. The last years she has worked with artists such as Bendik Qvam, Ingvild Blæsterdalen Trio and Gjermund Larsen. In her debutalbum (autumn 2021) she has recorded the traditions from her hometown. The folk music tradition in Folldal that has been performed and handed over vocally had been mostly forgotten, but now the music comes to life again.
