Nana Peradze was born in Georgia, in a religious family. She received musical training in piano and singing, and at the same time a theological training. During the difficult communist period, she actively participated in the revival of ecclesial life in Georgia, creating choirs in many monasteries and churches, and forming Georgian youth in choral singing. She has taught music at several religious institutions and has served as choirmaster at the Saints-Peter-and-Paul Church and Kashveti Church in Tbilisi, as well as at several churches in the Margveti region. In 1999, she came to France to study choral conducting at the Conservatoire National de Paris. She created the religious choir of the Georgian church of Paris before taking, in 2001, the direction of the Saint-Simeon Choir at the Serbian cathedral Saint-Sava of Paris. At the same time, she directs the ensemble "Harmonie géorgienne", which she created in 2006. They recorded three albums that have been unanimously praised by the international press.
