Born and raised in Trentino, Italian Alps, I now live by the sea, in Porto Recanati, my little Puerto Escondido. Engaged in a long-term relationship with Chopin, I see and live classical music as a vehicle for emotions, sentiments, and ideas. One of my non-Chopin albums originates from (and somehow embodies in the conception of the sound) the devastation before a new war on European soil, featuring works by Russian composer Rachmaninov and Ukrainian composer Silvestrov. On November 1, 2024, I became the first to release the newly discovered Waltz in A Minor by Chopin on Spotify, presenting the world premiere recording on period piano. On November 11, my version on modern piano (Fazioli concert grand) completed my commitment to sharing this incredible discovery. My latest album, released on December 13 and dedicated to Mozart, marks the final installment in a very prolific year. An important critic from the magazine Pizzicato gave it 5 stars under the headline "Barriers Broken." It's a bold project, with a modern take on Mozart, which I also discuss in the booklet, and a very personal interpretation.
