Nick Wilkins is a 26-year old multi-instrumentalist based in Des Moines, Iowa. In the years since releasing his first project Covers With Comrades, Vol. 1, Nick found himself in the middle of an up-and-coming Midwest Indie scene, being a founding member of the band 24thankyou, as well as frequently collaborating with artists such as Sophie Mitchell, Jim Swim and Ryan Radig. In September 2023, Nick released his first full-length project, Soul Searchin'. Met with critical acclaim, the LP blended motown-era sound design with modern songwriting sensibilities. A laundry list of talented artists collaborated on the record, featuring the hit single Wish I Said I Love You, co-written with exciting NYC-based vocalist meka maraschino. Under the name of his solo project, New World Vulture, Nick relased the EP In a Dream. The EP is a product of years of planning and recording, culminating in an exciting, genuine sound that you're sure to love. Although now uncredited for his years of production, writing, and recording work, Nick's involvement was instrumental in the success of a long-term collaboration with Adonai Melodías. This partnership culminated in the release of ¡Vamos Amigos! marking the beginnings of a new subgenre, blending bedroom pop sounds with traditional Mexican folk music, known as "Indie Corridos."
