Born into a young yet hardworking family, and hailing out of a small town in the central coast of California, Hazen Knowles (Krimzen Haze) fell in love with the culture of Hip-hop at a fairly young age. Unknowingly using the creative process of the music as a means of therapy and escape from a socially crippling hereditary mental-illness. Throughout high school he would take part in street cyphers and battles with the other locals, and by his early 20’s he had made a name for himself as the most prolific MC in his county, while time and time again establishing himself as a top lyricist on competitive platforms such as: TeamBackPack, GrindMode Cypher, WhoGotFlow, Coast to Coast mixtapes, World Emcee, etc. Krimzen is known for his dense rhyme-structure laden with technical bars, all the while injecting emotion and keeping a consistent flow as well as a tangible message for his listeners.
