Hailing from Parma, Italy, BLANK caught the attention of the electro underground with their self-produced demos in 2000 and 2001. Drawing inspiration from italian pioneers such as Kirlian Camera and Templebeat, as well as modern EDM or industrial classics, they never settled on a specific sound, wandering freely among genres and exploring all kind of dark paths of electronics. In 2003 they signed to canadian Artoffact Records, releasing 3 albums and a bunch of acclaimed singles and remixes. They regularly collaborate with Kirlian Camera, both live and in the studio. They are currently self-releasing their music. Their music is for the dancefloor and for the heart, combining thought-provoking lyrics with evocative atmospheres and energy to create a fresh, and exciting kind of 'introspective body music'.
