Born January 9, 1983 in Los Angeles California is a musical producer/engineer and current Co Owner of Local Astronauts Collective. Poly Rob was born to working middle class parents of Belize, Central America. Poly Rob accredits his musical passion to influences such as Stevie Wonder, Raekwon, Keith Murray, Mob Deep, D’ Angelo, John Mayer, Wu Tang Clan, Onyx, Notorious B.I.G, and Mary J. Blige just to name a few. In 2004, Poly Rob started an online magazine focusing on hip hop culture called the INGTimes.com. It was during this time that he met with Big Wy of the Relativez and Wacko whom were clients of his. They began working together and in 2006, they form Checkmate Ent now known as 319 Music Group. Poly Rob has worked with the likes of Busta Rhymes, Tech One, Kendrick Lamar, The Relativez, AVLMKR, iitsAD, Joe Moses, and many more. He has also co-developed platinum selling group Cali Swag District, known for their 2010 hit “Teach Me How to Dougie”. Poly Rob still finds time to be a dedicated father of two boys Mekhi Amir and Zayir Ahmad. With all of the music in their lives it is no surprise that both boys have picked up some of their father’s musical traits such as playing the drums and piano. Currently, he is the co founder of a music and media production company called, Local Astronauts. Working with major artists and brands that channel the creative nature of how culture influences economy, at the same time giving the world good quality music.
