Renato Iwai is a content director, music producer, and sound engineer, born and raised in São Paulo, based in Tokyo. With over a decade of experience working with both Japanese and Brazilian artists, Anime and Labels, Renato launched his debut LO-FI Beats album in 2023 “Focus On The Light”, with one of his tracks featured in a promotional video for TOM FORD. Renato is also the musical director of City Bossa, the project that has performed over 50 shows, including a tour across 8 Japanese cities. City Bossa has graced stages such as Billboard Tokyo, Blue Note Place (Tokyo), and even performed at the 60th anniversary celebration of Bossa Nova on Ipanema Beach. As the director of Pyramid Label, Renato continues to produce and release innovative music and collaborating with Coffee Music, one of largest music community on Instagram.
