Thobias Gabrielson is a Swedish bass player, composer and multi-instrumentalist active on the swedish jazz- and pop/rock scene since mid nineties. He’s been touring across Scandinavia, Europe, South Africa and Asia with artists like Nils Landgren, Magnus Öström, Janne Schaffer, Timbuktu and Ida Sand. On his upcoming album "Messages" (release November 10th) the bass part for the most contains the bass line, the melody of the song and occasionally also harmonies, all simultaneously played in one take without overdubs. On the record Thobias also plays keyboards, synthesizers, trumpet, flugelhorn and percussion.
