Started back in the early nineties with ragga, reggae,Jungle, R&B and hip hop , buying his vinyls on weekly basis at Amsterdam’s famous record store Boudisque at the Haringpakkerssteeg. During this time (’93) Kopstuk played Jamaican riddims and songs on VA albums on 45 rmp as the bubbling scene entered the Netherlands. That time Turn up the Bass launches several volumes where hip hop en electronic music were combined in a new style called hip-house . There the love for electronic music started and took his vows for over 20 years of house music evolution . Nowadays Kopstuk is a well known artist in the ABSTRACT dub techno scene where his first love for reggae roots and dub music are coming to their rights !
