Kushi is a musician, composer, producer, and artist from Baltimore, MD. A graduate of Frederick Douglass High School, where he studied jazz, classical, and contemporary music, he has developed a diverse and unique sound that draws from all of his experiences as a student, music director, and professional musician. Never locking himself into one particular genre, Kushi describes his music as "Street Gospel" which is the alchemy of all that he has practiced, studied, performed, and experienced.
