Evol Ai is the artistic moniker of Slovenian based musician, producer, contemplator and dj Alan Roposa, joined in studio and on stage by fellow musicians and friends. Evol Ai is a smile hunter and emotion cultivator, knowing that smile and tears come from the same place. Preceded by the decade long building of musical experiences and releases under the name of Qualia and Qualia 6, Evol Ai released his debut EP in 2012 on Nang Records, which was followed by original releases and remixes on Nang, No Static, Capitol Heaven, No Static, Prison Entertainment, Red And and Compost Records, from which came his most acclaimed release, Dark Disco EP. His Dar K Disco remix by Ilya Santana was even featured in the House Of Lies hollywood series with Don Cheadle. Besides more than 30 releases in the last two decades, Alan also wrote entire score and produced music for the 2016 feature documentary Crossing Iceland by the award winning director Jure Breceljnik and all the while he played countless dj sets and live act gigs around his region. His music has been supported by Tensnake, Kasper Bjorke, Brandt Brauer Frick, Peter Kruder, Kraak & Smaak, Claude Monet, Agoria, Timo Garcia and many more, while the Mixmag praising review labeled Evol Ai as the future of electronic music and nu-disco scene....
