Biography

Raised by 10-15 group homes, and about 5-10 Foster homes/facilities, the Streets of New York was where he spent the majority of his life, homeless and surviving on his own. No matter how hard the obstacle, he always made an opportunity. No where to go, no family, support, no money, no benefits, and with no hope, the music that would constantly play in his head would build confidence in making it to see another day. Poodah Luv started singing around 3 years old. While in and out of foster homes, he was forced to sing in children's choir. At the age of 6, Poodah Luv started enjoying the attention and became a lot more comfortable with making music and just being around it in general. By the age of 8 he started orchestrating, singing solos at William H. Holmes elementary school in Mount Vernon New York, which lead to talent shows and random performances. He went on to make the school choir/band, became drum major and lead percussionist on the snares. He also marched in parades around the city, and was recognized in the newspaper for his work on the drum line. As well as his singing, Poodah started writing his own lyrics in 2nd grade about the life he came from, and how corrupt the environment was whether he was a part of it or not.
