Since a very young age Rui was always drawn to music, this was evident by watching him it drum on school chairs or imitating his childhood idol Michael Jackson on DVD. But it wasn’t until he was 12 when he accidentally discovered Fruity Loops, and started making his own beats that Rui knew that he wanted to be a musician. 
 Forward to present time, Rui has released 3 highly acclaimed solo EPs ( O Sistema ) which he produced all 30 tracks, as well as being part of the famous Angolan quartet Trigo Limpo who had their big break with the hit singles Amor & Palavras de Amor (feat. Landrick)
