Dustin Lamont Taylor better known as D.tayls is a rap artist, singer, songwriter, and producer born sept. 4th 1986 in the city of Norfolk, VA developed a passion for music at a very young age. He started off singing in church at 4 where he won the church talent show. As time moved forward he begin exploring other artistic abilities he possessed such as drawing, painting, and writing poetry by 11. Around that same time his life almost ended in a horrific car accident but he survived because he served a greater purpose. Throughout middle school he always was involved in music activities taking part in band playing the trumpet. At 16 even though he was a troubled teen he started singing in the male chorus performing and winning various school talent shows at two separate high schools. It wasn't until he turn 17 his friend Adam Jackson encouraged Dustin to start rapping from that point on it would turn into his true passion. He developed a strong level of vocab and lyrical content. He had to overcome those obstacles of the Shark City and had to keep pushing forward with his passion creating his own style with his unique artistic abilities. His focus grew as he grew that's when he started performing at various shows and open mics opening up for major acts such as Raekown of the Wu-tang clan. D.tayls got a chance to meet with No Malice of the Clipse through this he has remained independent hoping to create his own lane.
