Her work has appeared on albums by Joseph Arthur, Hem, Jolie Holland, Justin Townes Earle and more. In 2005, Landes released her first full-length debut album, "dawn's music". "Two Three Four", an EP recorded with members of Hem, followed in 2006. She released "Fireproof" in 2008 on french label Fargo to rave reviews worldwide. "Sweet Heart Rodeo" followed in 2010 on UK label Cooking Vinyl. Her next release was the French-language EP "Mal Habilleé" in 2012 accompanied by a book of illustrations by the artist Danica Novgorodoff. After a year of working on other musicians' projects, she recorded "Bluebird" in 2014 following her divorce from singer-songwriter Josh Ritter. "Bluebird" was produced by Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman) and features guest vocals by Norah Jones. In 2018 Landes teamed with the legendary Fred Foster, the producer responsible for hits from Roy Orbison, Willie Nelson, and Dolly Parton for Nashville-inspired "Meet Me at the River" (Yep Roc). In 2020 she released "ROW" a collection of songs from her musical based on the true story of rower Tori Murden McClure featuring KY artists Will Oldham, Ben Sollee and more.
