Born and brought up in Indore, Varun Agnihotri is a Mumbai-based multi-genre musician. The perfect blend of funk, rock, and R&B sets him apart while giving his music a bold and distinct sound, with lyrics that interact with the most complex emotions at different peripherals of life, with clarity. 
 Inspired by artists like Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, Varun started playing guitar at the young age of 6. In 2015, he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where he was exposed to various musical styles and genres. This was also where Varun formed Category 9, a funk-rock trio, which gained popularity in Boston’s college circuit and the New England Area. 
 After graduating from Berklee in 2019, Varun moved to Los Angeles, CA, and began his solo career as a singer/songwriter and producer. In April 2021, Varun released his first single, "Waiting For you". His current music is heavily inspired by artists such as John Mayer, Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei, Bruno Major and Honne, to name a few.
