The first appearance of Skadi Thordardottir was in January 2016 when she performed with the alternative queer cabaret Drag-sugur. Since then she has become a prominent figure in Reykjavíks underground music scene performing at most of the city’s music venues lining up with good variety of artists and bands. She has on several occasion broken through to the more mainstream media performing at Iceland airwaves, twice at Secret solstice and on the Icelandic pre run for Eurovision in 2019.
