A Brooklyn, New York native, Gretchen's prolific musical journey began at the tender age of nine as she started following in the footsteps of her legendary jazz guitarist father, Eric Gale. A seasoned studio session singer and Soulful House Recording Artist, Gretchen has had the profound honor of recording with some of her favorite artists, including the world-renowned Luther Vandross, Lisa Fischer, Bobby D'Ambrosio, and more recently, Carla A. Harris. She also spent 18 years performing internationally with "The Crystals," best known for their hit song, "Da Doo Ron Ron." With over 40 years as a professional singer and entertainer to her credit, Gretchen is now applying her precision vocal and performance skills to voice acting as she continues recording the music she loves.
