Biography

On March 19, 2021, the Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs issue their first album in nearly 20 years, One More Drink on Dead Beat Records. The album features 11 brand new songs and guest spots from John Easdale of Dramarama, Rikk Agnew of the Adolescents and Paul Roessler of the Screamers. The Cheetahs reunited in 2014 to take their beer-soaked, fist-pumpin’, hard rockin’ action to the people after a 12-year break. Lead by founders Frank Meyer (vocals, guitar), Dino Everett (bass), Mike Sessa (drums) plus new guitarist Bruce Duff (Jesters of Destiny, 45 Grave, Jeff Dahl) and sax player Geoff Yeaton, The Streetwalkin' Cheetahs have been performing non-stop in the U.S., alongside acts such as Supersuckers, Hank Von Hell, Death Valley Girls, and Shrine. Their LPs, Live on KXLU, Waiting For the Death of My Generation, Maximum Overdrive, Red Tape Diaries and Gainesville received rave press in Rolling Stone, Spin, Alternative Press, and all the ‘zines and weeklies. The band worked with legends Wayne Kramer (MC5), Cherie Currie (The Runaways), Sylvain Sylvain (New York Dolls), and Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman), and shared stages with such acts as The White Stripes, Queens of the Stone Age, Turbonegro, Reverend Horton Heat, Fishbone and more.
