Musician, writer and poet, Reynaldo Bessa was born in Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte - Brazil. He has been living in São Paulo for more than two decades and has already released six albums: his debut was “Outros Sóis” in 1994, “O Beco das Frutas” in 1996 (Alpha Music), the well praised “Angico” in 2000, relaunched in 2004 (Devil discos) and “O Som da Cabeça do Elefante” in 2007 (Devil discos). The artist’s last two albums were selected for important music awards. In 2008, his fifth album “Com os Dentes'' was released. Bessa also musicalized poems of Drummond, Leminski, Bukowski, amongst others. Many renowned names of the brazilian music industry featured in Bessa’s songs like “Por Amor '', Bessa feat. Zé Rodrix, recorded by the brazilian band IRA in their MTV unplugged album. After that, in his solo career, Nasi (vocalist of IRA!) re-recorded “Por Amor” feat. Vanessa Krongold. Bessa also had his song “Devastador” recorded by the singer Rita Benneditto. In 2008, he traveled to Europe and played in various countries like Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, England and Netherlands. In 2009, he played in Cochabamba and Sucre, in Bolivia. Reynaldo Bessa is currently promoting his new album: O Futuro Que Me Alcance.
