A stylistically unique Jazz Group from day one, The Moment dedicates a significant portion of their live performances to totally improvised compositions; with one musician starting a rhythmic or melodic idea off-the-cuff, so the other musicians must compose on-the-spot. The audience gets to see the creative process in action and is treated to a song which has never been heard before, and may never be heard again. The bandmates, Richie Haynes, David Tyler Strait, BJ Lee, Joshua George, Kristen Beard, and Nick Weglowski all take part in the creative process and add their own sound to the project both in the studio and on stage.
