Awen Robbe is a young 15 years-old trumpeter and ecletic composer from France. From an early age, he was immersed in music (especially in Jazz & Breton culture) thanks to his father Fabien Robbe, Jazz pianist & multi-instrumentalist, and began playing the trumpet at 7. He started young to perform on stage, playing his first professional concerts at the age of 12. Awen is a traveler of musical and sonic diversity, accompanied as he is each time, each notes of his trumpet, always bringing with him this touch of jazz. In 2022, he meet Kirk Joseph, a world-renowned sub-assophonist of the The Dirty Dozen Brass Band (Grammy awards-winning Brass Band from New Orleans) with whom he play at the Jazz Festival of Vannes (France), accompanied by an ephemeral brass band. It’s from this traditional and revealing experience that he links up with the culture of Jazz, highlighting its modernity, the "Jazz of tomorrow", through its open musical eclecticism. His music doesn't just accompany his life; it seamlessly intertwines with it, shaping a harmonious narrative that resonates through time and space.
