Biography

Los Angeles rock band Valora was formed in 2007 by lead singer, Syd Duran. The band was signed to Hollywood Records in 2008 and went on tour that same year with The Jonas Brothers. Valora has years of touring under their belt, opening up for bands like KoRn and performing at music festivals across the country, sharing the stage with Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack, Disturbed, Sevendust, Stone Sour, Lita Ford, and Escape the Fate to name a few. As Valora gained national attention in 2011, Syd was the featured vocalist on Breaking Benjamin's leading single, "Blow Me Away", which landed at #5 on the Active Rock chart and has over 4 Million views on YouTube. Valora’s music has been featured on major motion picture soundtracks including Nicholas Sparks film “The Last Song” and the Alice In Wonderland inspired-by soundtrack “Almost Alice.” Valora's upcoming single "Dust and Bone" has been featured in a 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup commercial and various TV series on STARZ, AMC, E!, ABC, MTV, Syfy, FOX, CMT and Discovery Channel.
