Qutaiba Raimah aka EQuBE, musical journey began in 1999 with a harmonic odyssey that has advanced and evolved with each tune, unleashing an ever-expanding and progressing acoustic statement. Inspired by old-school Hip Hop and the music of his Arab roots, EQuBE started writing his own lyrics, rapping, and making beats at the age of 12 in Baghdad. Before long, he had his first show, catching the attention of fellow artists and building a creative community around a shared goal of creating new, fresh, and genre-bending sounds. However, in 2007, EQuBE was forced to flee to Sweden, where he had to start from scratch. He studied audio engineering to refine his craft and immersed himself in the local music scene, connecting with artists from around the world. Before long, he had put together his own studio and made a name for himself as a producer and DJ, eventually starting his own label, EQuBE Music & EQuBE Vibes. Today, EQuBE's sound is a fusion of Hip Hop and Middle Eastern roots mixed with R&B, Dancehall, Afrobeats, reggaeton, and Electronic Music.
