Dej the Ego is a rapper, producer, songwriter and sound engineer born in East London. Despite a massive rebrand and emergence in the last year he has been creating music in some shape or form since he was 7 years old. He has been described as a lyricist that presents his many talents through a sophisticated Afro-Bashment sound. 
 Dej the Ego released his debut EP ‘Swing’ in digital stores last July and since then has built a huge following across social media platforms. Individuals in the music industry have taken a real liking to Dej’s talents with every release being playlisted by senior editors at Spotify and he has been invited to 2/3 of the major labels in Universal and Warner Music Group on multiple occasions. 
 In just under a year Dej the Ego has gained tens of thousands of fans, numerous viral moments on social media and created a real name for himself in the industry. His streaming numbers match those of signed artists having hit over 400k streams in the last 11 months. Still unsigned but with offers on the table and undeniable interest from several parties, Dej is now gearing up for a life-changing summer full of singles and out-do his achievements of 2018.
