Andromeda Orchestra is the brainchild of UK-born DJ/producer and musician, Rob Lee. Rob, a maestro of musical connections, seamlessly intertwines his roles as a best-selling artist and critically acclaimed producer. As one-half of the esteemed production duo Faze Action, Rob is a pioneering figure in the Disco scene, having played a pivotal role in shaping the Nu-Disco movement. He has forged a global community of thousands of music enthusiasts through his DJ sets, live performances, and groundbreaking productions. Originating from the UK, Rob's musical journey began with a foundation in classical music, honing his skills as a cellist and chorister for The Royal Opera House Covent Garden. An early rebel in the nightlife scene, he surreptitiously infiltrated clubs at the age of 14, immersing himself in the sounds of House, Disco, and Jazz dance classics. Reflecting on his influences, Rob notes, "I was always influenced by my brother and his passion for record collecting. He would buy a new record, and I would learn how to play it on the piano." Faze Action's initial productions found a home on the legendary Nuphonic label, catapulting them to flagship status while shaping a fresh Disco sound that left an indelible mark on the music landscape.
