Badge and Talkalot is the brainchild of Gilberto Caleffi, DJ and producer with an eclectic style that straddles the genres of soul, funk, hip hop, r&b. The name comes from a famous Robert De Niro’s sentence in The Untouchables movie by Brian De Palma (“You're nothing but a lot of talk and a badge!”). Fragments Of The Soul (Ropeadope) features Georgia Anne Muldrow, Lisa Kekaula, Kevin Mark Trail, Rahel Debebe Dessalegne, Ian Whitelaw, Pugs Atomz & Psalm One, Neco Redd, Adam Topol. Giving Up Your Ghost is a previously unreleased song written by Ben Harper. FOTS was submitted for "Best Progressive R&B Album" at 2021 Grammy awards. Help Me feat. Deeply influenced by Dj Shadow’s Endtroducing, B&T’s first album Greatest Hints was the result of an intensive creative process of sample manipulation and sound processing.
