John Vincent is a Copenhagen based, formerly B-Boy turned turntablist & producer. Hiphop is his main sound, but has a blend of genres when DJ'ing/producing. On a regular basis you can catch him mixing at clubs and events in the CPH nightlife. JVC is a first mover and has co-founded functions like Club Live, Mahal Kita, OVA Dance Events and more. JVC was part of the Official Resident DJ line-up on one of Denmarks biggest festivals, Roskilde Festival’16, and has been dj’ing on various stages at Distortion Festival in Copenhagen since ’10. Besides his residencies around CPH, he’s a known face for being the Opening Support DJ and at Official Afterparties for international artists. Incl. names such as Ms. Lauryn Hill, Craig David, Giggs, IAMDDB, Rejjie Snow, Stormzy and many more. On the production side JVC is working with different artists, both Danish and international and released his debut album KASAMA in 2022 incl. features from Desta French, Prettyboy DO, BAWO and more. Available on Vinyl and all streaming platforms. ATM, he is performing with artists like: ICEKiiD, Alo Wala, FVN, JU KAIA & Ms. Katana. Outside DK, JVC have performed in places like Floripa in Brazil, Lagos in Nigeria, “Boiler Room” in Mumbai, “Oasis Festival” in Morocco, “Notting Hill Carnival” in London, “RinseFM France” & “LePompon” in Paris, the legendary “Jamboree” in Barcelona. And open-air events on the mountains in Laax(CH) & “Fête De La Musique” in Chamonix, France for several years in a row.
