Born in Switzerland, Miel's father shared his love of music with her, often singing French Chansons with his young daughter. A qualified clinical psychologist and family therapist, Miel practised in Paris before a move to London where she met record producer Andy Wright and recorded her debut album ‘Magnetic’, a record that invites listeners to enjoy the romantic sounds of Paris in spring with songs performed in both French and English. An artist who truly sings from the heart, Miel’s “joie de vivre” and generous spirit captivated her audiences and, during the summer of 2016, Miel made her first festival appearances at Camp Bestival and Carfest. Miel is also a passionate believer in the healing power of music and a supporter of the music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins. Close to her heart is the YMCA Jerusalem Youth Chorus, a joint Israeli-Palestinian choir with whom she has performed and recorded. Through music and dialogue, the choir works together for peace in their community and beyond. ‘Birds Without Borders’, was written by Miel for the RSPB’s campaign of the same name and in 2018 ‘I Was Given Nature' was chosen to represent the WWF campaign Connect2earth. Her second album 'Surrender To The Feeling' was released in 2019. In 2020 came the uplifting track ‘The Immunity Song’ feat. Bahamian reggae star Roachie. A reworked 'Forest Prayer (For Our Times)' released in 2022 as a prayer for the tricky times the world has been experiencing, in the hope of bringing solace.
