"Chris Gall's Trio debut provides evidence that jazz is alive and kicking in Germany" writes the leading English jazz magazine Jazzwise about their debut album “Climbing Up,” which was released in 2008 on ACT, one of the most renowned jazz labels in Europe. With jazz, Indie rock, and world music, Gall electrified audiences as a bandleader at the Jazzfestival Montreux, Jazzbaltica, the Jazzfest Bonn, and the Stuttgart Jazz Open. Since 2014, he has also been composing, arranging, and performing as a guest musician with Germany’s top world-music ensemble Quadro Nuevo, with whom he achieved the German Platinum-Jazz Award for their Album “Tango”. His third trio album "Cosmic Playground" (GLM music) made it to the release under the "10 of the hottest new jazz albums" of the renowned American Jazz magazine JAZZIZ. He also performed recorded and arranged orchestral works with well-known orchestras such as the Munich Radio Orchestra. In 2021, Chris Gall performed a world premiere of his own jazzy adaption of Beethoven Piano Concerto No1 with the Philharmonie Salzburg in prestigious Grosses Festspielhaus. In 2023 he composed the orchestral score for his first feature film "Checker Tobi und die Reise zu den fliegenden Flüssen"
