Biography

Hailing from South Africa, Limpopo born and raised in Mulima/Tshitale is Makhubele Bongani better known as Afro Exotiq he’s a self-taught Music Producer & DJ versed in Dance Music. One can say music is a piece to complete him – known for “We Don’t Play The Same Afro” not just words but expressed in his sound that isolates him from others. He constantly serves energetic sounds with strong cadence that infuses African percussions with a touch of EDM sounds. After his noticeable ground breaking single Woza that was supported by both SABC and International radio stations with DJ sets support from international acts such as Shimza, Danni Gato, Lebza TheVillain just to name few, he never looked back. While expressing his love for his African roots he then teamed up with Nitefreak on Africa Is Electronic single that is forever growing, this was followed by Ancient Khoi that was debuted by Black Motion duo on Channel O during their performance. With his love for exploring sounds he stretched his creativity and came up with INSTROSPECTION that had much influence of Electronic sounds – the release made its first radio play on Tomorrowland Radio and got featured on Apple Music EDM sounds playlist on its release day. After the launch of his record label HOUSE PLANET he released Dusk that was supported by DJEFF on its release day, this was followed by Moving Pictures EP with a leading single Eclipse that was supported by SONA at Tomorrowland Festival (2023).
