Formed in 1978 by musician and folklorist Mick Maloney, Green Fields of America combined the step dance, and vocal and instrumental traditions of Irish America with a revolving cast of musicians and dancers who included Seamus Egan, Eileen Ivers, Marie Reilly, Donny Golden, Jean Butler, Liz Carroll, Jack Coen and Michael Flatley.
