Not knowing only roughly two years later Mr. Carter's family would be struck with tragedy when his biggest influence (LaTerrie) was brutally murdered. J-Mack gave up on music till the ripe age of 14 when he decided to put pen to pad and wrote his first mini rap. The streets took control of Mr. Carter’s life which landed him in a state prison at the young age of 24. Shortly thereafter Mr. Carter suffered yet another major loss losing his mother only 3 months into a 5 1/2-year bid. Again, with nowhere else to turn but music Mr. Carter went back to paper writing over 127 songs before release in 2010. Hesitant and focused to stay out of trouble Mr. Carter put music on the shelf and married, divorcing shortly thereafter in 2017. It was not until 8 years after release and another marriage that Mr. Carter and his current wife decided it was time for him to bless the mic! That's when a star was born! J-Mack and StreetMuzik Ent has been lighting up stages in major cities in much of the Northern States. Dropping an amazing 2 albums in one year!
