#MANDI born Amanda Maxfield has released her debut EP “Ask Mandi”, much to the excitement of her growing army of followers. With her forthcoming full album expected to be a success and fame imminent, the exciting, newfangled sound that she has made her own is certain to gain interest from across the world. 
 #Mandi’s musical journey did not begin on big stages, however. Born in Dallas, TX (Pleasant Grove), it was here that she developed her musical tastes and interests, and it wasn’t long after learning to play piano that she was experimenting with blending traditional gospel riffs with contemporary R&B grooves, all of which have had a profound influence on the direction her musical journey has taken. 
 Soon she was working with and/or opening for legends such as Grammy award winners Robert “Sput” Searight and Shaun Martin, Kierra “KiKi” Sheard, James Fortune and FIYA, Minon Bolton, Lisa McClendon, Crystal Rucker, Earnest Pugh, Andrea Helms, BET Sunday Best winner Amber Bullock, Joshua Rogers, Crystal Aikin, Season 15 American Idol runner up La’Porsha Renae and amazing Dallas/Ft. Worth artists, James Henderson, Shy Speaks, Norris J, Brennen John and Lawyer Turner. 
 Finally, after honing her unique sound, she released her debut EP ‘Ask Mandi’ on June 12, 2018 which underlies the changes that Amanda has gone through over recent years. The biggest of these was her divorce, which has allowed her to develop as a person, and has in turn profoundly aided her musical development.
