Biography

Samoan/Irish by descent, New Zealand raised. writer and singer Embher, is an authentic force. Embher has been developing her own unique and eclectic style in writing and vocal performance since she was young. Her music evokes undertones of her idols and childhood influences in Soul/Funk, Alternative R&B, Hip Hop, Metalcore, Rock and Trap. Surrounded by her musical family, Embher has always had an artistic identity. The often introverted musician most commonly found in her bedroom (her favourite place) enjoys, making music, clothes and playing video games; as an outlet of creativity. This is her way of communicating with the world that she doesn’t always fit into. 
 This artists singing voice is much larger than her soft toned speaking voice. This being said, she was intrigued by the idea of people’s ‘alter ego’ and her own; Wanting to capture this essence in her music she has created the song ‘Two Tone Mona’. 
 She is usually found behind the scenes writing for other artists. Some of the released works she has Co-written include @Alex King‘s debut single ‘When It’s Over’. Co-writing @Raiza Biza ‘s songs ‘City Girl’ and ‘Red wine’. @Lee Mvtthew ‘s single ‘Let Me Go’. She also appears as a co-writer on new artist @rochi.mp3 ‘s debut single ‘Life Is Not a Game’. She a is diverse writer with an unfiltered sound. 
 With ‘Two Tone Mona’ set to start a string of productivity from Embher, keep eyes on this femme fatale as she continues to implement the unconventional.
