Biography

As one fourth of visionary Los Angeles based hip-hop crew The Anonymous, Able burst on the scene in 1998 with two Top 10 hits including the underground classic "Green and Gold" featuring Eminem, Vesuveo, and Able, and "Dr. EZ's Cool Fantastic Part 2" featuring DJ Drez, Able, and a who's who of left coast emcees. Born and raised in The Bay Area, Able joined forces with Vesuveo and Zinndeadly in Philadelphia during his freshman year at UPenn in 1994, after responding to a DJ for Hire flyer Vesuveo had posted on campus. The three of them began writing and recording eventually moving to Los Angeles and releasing 4 albums together as The Anonymous. An electric performer and gifted wordsmith whose lyrical flow always conceals a message, Able shared the stage with Run-D.M.C., KRS-One, Black Eyed Peas, Biz Markie, and Rock Steady Crew, and collaborated with Cut Chemist (Jurassic 5), Living Legends, Rakaa of Dilated Peoples, Divine Styler, and many more. A stalwart of the late 90s West Coast underground scene, Able earned respect for his artistic integrity, unique sound, and conscious lyrics.
