Hunterbräu grew up in the 80s rinsing his parents' vinyl for all it was worth, picking up guitars and knocking out melodies on keyboards left lying around the house. Heavily influenced by the MTV generation and electronic pioneers such as Kraftwerk, Joy Division, and New Order, he found a new lease of life by producing his own take on dancefloor hits, trying to reinvent the techno and house of his late teens. The result is acid-tinged, deep, evolving sounds. He is always searching for that Enchantment Under the Sea moment, where you get on the phone to proclaim: "Chuck. Chuck. It's Marvin - your cousin, Marvin BERRY. Do you know that new sound you're looking for? Well, listen to this!"
