Kamel Ollie A.K.A. K. Ollie was born and currently lives in DeKalb Illinois with his dad, Jermel Ollie.  Both of his parents are from Chicago, and with most of his family being out there it is like a second home to him.  K. Ollie's dad was an aspiring artist, and by watching his dad create music and videos he was inspired to make music of his own.  After coming up with the idea to make positive music for his generation, he created his first song, Good Grades. The song created a buzz when his dad produced a video and posted it to YouTube. Since then, he has been performing at local schools and colleges.  His high energy and positive message gained the attention of major news stations, such as WGN and Fox News Chicago.  His interviews have inspired kids from all over the United States to understand the importance of Good Grades and Manners.  K. Ollie hopes to one day work with other positive artists such as Chance the Rapper, who gives back to his community.
