Jody Lee is a very versatile artist from the parish of Saint Catherine, Jamaica. She was born and raised in Linstead and later immigrated to New Jersey at the age of 13 where she majored in theatre arts. At the age of 17, Jody Lee started her music career by deejaying on local online radio stations, local parties, and hosting podcast sessions such as “Talk di tings dem” and “Bare Tings”. Other than her musical talent both on the turntables and on the studio microphone, Jody Lee is known for her creative writing skills. Her main priority was writing, so she exercised that talent by writing for other dancehall artists; Tiana being her first. Shortly after, she decided to record her own music, and while doing so, she shares her demos with close family and friends who became her solid support system. Though she holds two Criminal Law Degrees and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management, she is the one with the musical talent to look out for. Smart, talented and a phenomenal writer.
