Dale Frost is a drummer and electronic musician focused on interlocking polyrhythms, displaced jazz beats, and intricate yet playful electronics. Utilising a drum kit, sampler, and a loop pedal in live sets, Frost’s music embodies a fusion of rhythmic complexity and experimental electronica. He has performed alongside acts as diverse as Xylitol, Talvin Singh, MEMORIALS, The Field and Baba Ali. Frost's previous work includes Perm Octo Clavè Induction Set, a body of work that examines, deconstructs, and reimagines traditional clavè rhythms. Other notable releases are the 2020 album Until It Makes Sense To You and 2016 EP, Recast. Formerly the drummer for Benefits (Invada Records), Frost was a key contributor to their 2023 album, Nails.
