What started as an innocent exploration of a digital audio workstation, led to a journey of layering sounds and gritty "producer faces". J'Nae Morrae is a music producer-songwriter, musician and groover. Her R&B-rooted fusion of various production styles (including pop and soul), references her eclectic cultural background. In late 2018, the Maryland-bred, Panamanian-raised producer started her unofficial remix series on SoundCloud to test different bounces. These remixes took off and led to fast responses by independent blogs. Within the next few years, Ms. Morrae slowly birthed each track for her beat album, "A Celebration," through remixes and beat battles, including Battle of the Beatmakers in Toronto.
