Raleigh, North Carolina rapper Lil Ak was born Akram Hacini in 2000 in Rabat, Morocco located in North Africa, and lived in Casablanca and Rabat before moving to Raleigh at age 19. He got into rapping by the age of 18 he was posting his self-produced solo tracks online. His audio for the song " Lonely child " was made while he was in the US in May 2020 and it was the first song he ever dropped after many freestyles.
