Born and raised in Providence Rhode Island to musical parents, Lee expressed early aspirations for a career in music. Her journey began with piano, violin and voice, the latter of which quickly became her primary love. Alexus’s 4 octave range, skillful ability for storytelling, and commanding stage presence, have carried her to countless cities, states, and countries around the world. She’s shared stages with world class talents such as Mac Ayres, been featured in numerous online and print publications describing her as, “soulful” “fiery” “commanding” and “relatable” and even been nominated for a Rhode Island Music Award for “Best Vocalist” of 2022. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2013, one year ahead of schedule, Alexus has dedicated herself to writing and performing, honing her abilities, exploring new instruments, and preparing the world for her debut album which listeners can expect to hear more about soon.
