Singer/songwriter Michelle Kallin first started sharing her original music back in 2010, on smaller stages around the towns of Sweden. She has since gone on to perform in numerous locations around the globe, establishing herself as a solo artist. She has continued to develop her songwriting, performance and production style over the years, having worked with producers from Sweden, England and Australia. She has also found inspiration through collaborations made with various musicians from different corners of the world. Influenced by other songwriters such as Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift, Michelle’s sound could be described as having a folk/pop vibe. She varies her recordings between simple acoustics, captured in cut-back, home studios as well as in bigger studio productions. Vocals and lyrics remain in focus, however, alongside her passion for story-telling. Each song represents the artist’s inner thoughts and shares personal experiences. In June 2019, Michelle released her first Spotify-single; a singer/songwriter version of Per Gessle’s 'Sommartider' based on a steady dance-beat. The project was made as part of a collaboration with her friends at Folkhemmet and combines the genres and production styles of both artists. The artist is currently working on her next single.
