Olivier Calmel is a composer, orchestrator and pianist played by numerous soloists and orchestras, winner of several competitions and distinctions: Grand prix Sacem, Grand Prix International Académie Charles Cros, Prix de composition Concours national de jazz de la Défense, Premier Prix Jazz à Vannes, Jerry Goldsmith Award. Commissions for soloists, ensembles and orchestras are at the origin of most of his works (Philharmonique Radio France, Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne, Maîtrise de Radio France, Festival de Beauvais, Chœur d'Île-de-France, etc.).
