From the alleyway basement clubs of Melbourne, Australia, to vibrant summer music festivals across Europe, MC Wasp's music career is constantly going new places. MC Wasp was inspired to start rapping and producing music by an early love of artists such as the Beastie Boys, Ice-T, NWA, Cypress Hill, and Rage Against the Machine. A love of hip-hop expanded as the sounds of drum and bass emerged, listening to artists such as The Prodigy and Roni Size, then growing further to include a broad spectrum of electronic music. Currently completing his second solo album, listeners can expect the unexpected, a trip-hop/lofi inspired collection of instrumental tracks with a touch of psychedelic boom bap.
