K D S better know as Nathan Shaw was born in Newark New Jersey on September 7th, 1984. Him and his family lived their for about 5 years of his life before moving to Greenville South Carolina. His mother said that the move from Jersey was to keep her kids out of gangs and violence. Nathan graduated from Greenville High School home of the Red Raiders in 2004. Although Nathan lived in Greenville most of his life he didn't began making music until 2012 after seeing a automobile commercial. His first release was an EP titled "It's About Time". Nathan said "I wasn't expecting to make any money from my first release but ended up making $50. This changed my mind about making music". Nathan continue to make music release two albums and several singles. In addition to his content he helps other local artist along in their music creations in hopes to inspire.
